Dubai, United Arab Emirates (CNN) — You may have previously visited Mount Mokattam in Egypt, and enjoyed its wonderful views of all the landmarks of the historic capital, Cairo.. However, you may have missed one of its hidden caves, far from the eyes of the onlookers.
It is known as the cave of “magic and sorcery”, as it is located opposite the Citadel of Salah al-Din al-Ayyubi, which is considered among the most prominent tourist attractions in Egypt.
Egyptian travel blogger Ahmed Zahran, owner of the YouTube channel AhmedZahran76, was daring enough to enter it.
He said in an interview with CNN in Arabic: “You will find many strange and frightening secrets among its corners,” adding that there are symbols and writings on the walls of the cave, through which the jinn are summoned in acts of magic and sorcery.
The location of the cave increases its mystery, as there is no paved way to climb it.
Zahran, who has been practicing photography for 4 years, felt fear when he arrived at the cave door.

Egyptians consider the Mokattam Mountain to be the only real mountain in Cairo, although many people classify it as a plateau, according to the “Tour Egypt” website.
Its height ranges between 400 and 500 feet. It is located directly east of Cairo. It is said that his name came from his severed limbs, according to what Zahran told CNN in Arabic.
The Egyptian travel blogger hopes to visit all the unique sites that his country embraces, and document them in the form of videos, with the aim of showing them to people on the YouTube platform.
