Ahead of Assassin’s Creed Mirage gameplay at Gamescom 2023 ONL, Ubisoft Bordeaux invites us to explore glorious ninth-century Baghdad as the backdrop for the adventures we’ll experience as Bashim.
A detailed video produced by Ubisoft France (as well as many other teams involved in the development of the game) shows the painstaking work done by transalpine authors to recreate, as far as possible, the atmosphere, culture, architecture and art of the pearl of the Islamic Golden Age.
Walking through the alleys of New Century Baghdad, players will be able to immerse themselves in the atmosphere of a flourishing Arab city and learn a lot of anecdotes about the manners and customs of the locals, as well as about art and major historical events. In addition, on this journey we will be accompanied by numerous documents and artifacts that can be obtained using the Baghdad Codex in Assassin’s Creed Mirage.
The adventures of Basim ibn Ishaq will officially launch on October 5th on PC, PS4, Xbox One and, in an optimized version, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
