Pokémon Scarlet and Violet were heavily criticized at launch for poor visuals and other technical difficulties. They’re not as visually intrusive as Pokémon Sword and Shield, but fans still find that, given the visual quality of other Switch games, Pokémon seems to take one step back while others take two steps forward.
giving Comicbook.com’sIn a statement, The Pokémon Company COO Takato Utsunomiya spoke about how the series might change in the future.
“I think in general, if you look back, the path we’ve been on thus far has been constant releases, always regular releases on a fairly regular cadence, you might say. Always been able to roll out these products for our customers and new experiences, that’s how we’ve operated to date. I think we still operate that way, but as the development environment changes, there’s some More and more conversations.
So, could we see more time between Pokémon releases? It is certainly possible. Right now, we only have the upcoming Pokemon DLC
Crimson and Violet is something to look forward to when it comes to major series releases. A Gen 5 remake is being discussed online, but has yet to be officially confirmed.
