There’s a lot going on these weeks. Whether in the marketing-tech world, where new messages about ChatGPT, Bard and the “Apple GPT” flutter in almost every day, in the social media area, where Twitter has become X and with threads – at least in the USA – a serious competitor growing up. In employer branding, the discussions about the cancellation of parental allowance and the alternatives that employers offer their employees. The marketing industry doesn’t really come to rest these days.
That’s why we decided to give this variety of topics a stage in August. Under the heading “Future of Marketing” we have brought together very different impulses. This month you can read something about artificial intelligence in media planning, about the up-and-coming media genre retail media, or get an overview of what’s currently going on in the streaming market. Keyword: automation of audio advertising.
In addition to these topics driven by key figures, we also have a few supposedly softer stories to offer in the mix. For example, we explore how humor and puns work in advertising, what role feminism plays in marketing and why you should consider staying in a serviced apartment on your next business trip.
Countdown to the brand award
And then, of course, on August 16, the 23rd brand award will be presented. Who can secure the award in the categories “Brand Management” and “Social Commitment”? Who will be our “Brand Personality” of the year?
In the coming days we will be introducing all nine finalists once on our website. Kicking off with #LikeABosch, the globally successful campaign has grown into something bigger: a brand platform that claims to have reached more than 10.5 billion contacts worldwide in four years. Mind you: billions!
With that in mind, let yourself be inspired. We wish you lots of fun reading!
