DELFZIJL – Healthcare providers are increasingly using technology and the internet to treat patients. This is also called eHealth. Examples of this are: a consultation via the internet, measuring your blood pressure at home, accessing your own medical file or making an appointment with the doctor online. What can this development mean for you? During a meeting in the Kruiskerk in Delfzijl you will receive information about eHealth and you can try out a number of eHealth applications. You do not need to have any experience with technology and the internet. You will be assisted in trying it out. You may bring your laptop, smartphone (mobile) or tablet. With this meeting, Longfonds wants to show its supporters what possibilities the internet can offer if you have a lung disease. We look forward to seeing you, see you on November 13th!
The information afternoon will take place at our location in the ‘Kruiskerk’ at Menno van Coehoornsingel 21 in Delfzijl at 2 p.m. This afternoon will be supervised by Esther Metting, UMCG and RUG epidemiologist, together with a student, nurse specialist, volunteers and Longfonds employees. We look forward to seeing you, see you on November 13th!
