The publication prepared by pharmacists presents the approach to the development of additional pharmaceutical care services in several countries – the USA, Denmark, Poland, Austria, the Netherlands and Norway, as well as collected survey data of Latvian pharmacists about their readiness to provide additional services in the pharmacy.
How does a pharmacy manager motivate his employees and himself? How to be a good leader? How not to criticize, but to have a conversation that helps the employee to get rid of unprofessional or inappropriate behavior in the work environment? How does self-motivation work? What motivational tools do pharmacy managers use in Latvia? These questions are touched upon by the material in the introductory part of the magazine and supplemented by the article of “Latvijas aptiekas”, in which artificial intelligence also expresses the wishes of pharmacists and employers – interviewed by ChatGPT.
