Jeddah: The teachers and education experts who participated in the online seminar “Study in Saudi Arabia – Admission to King Abdulaziz University” organized by CG Jeddah Chapter Career Wing said that the admission process in Saudi universities has become more transparent in the changed situation and expatriates should be ready to take advantage of its benefits.
Those who have Iqama in Saudi can join the courses from here.
But students from the country can enroll in many courses like engineering and management with full scholarship by direct application (External application).
Apart from undergraduate postgraduate studies, opportunities are open up to Ph.D. But at present foreigners are not allowed to apply for any higher medical courses
Students who are doing engineering PhD courses in different universities in Saudi participated in the program and shared their experiences.
Abdurrahman Faisal and Zahala, students of King Abdulaziz University, presented the topic. CG Career Wing Leeds and King Abdulaziz University lecturers Dr Abdullah Abdulsalam, Dr Muhammad Faisal and Dr Sabna Kota answered the queries. CG Career Wing panel answered queries regarding admission.
More than 300 people including parents and students participated in the program. Chapter President Muhammad Kunhi extended his greetings. CG Women’s Career Coordinator Irfana Zajeer moderated the programme. Dr Abdullah gave the welcome and the career coordinator Abdul Hakeem Muslimarakat thanked.
