Throughout my career, I have been screenwriter in the Globomedia series and co-founder of the NYLON production company, where I have written and directed over 50 projects, mainly short fiction films for branded content. My movie “ICEBERG” got recognized in Sitges pitch box and is in the final stage of post-production with the name “BOREAL”. I have developed several series projects, including “VOYAGER” with whom I signed a co-production contract to seek international funding. In theatre, I wrote, directed and acted “FINAL”presented at various festivals and venues.

Next to my teaching, I created the training itineraries for fiction script writing and actor guidance for TVE and I founded the group “THE COMMUNE” there Platform Directors Center. In addition, I have training in therapeutic theatre, I am completing an expert course in gestalt therapeutic theatre, which allows me to study. psychodramatic techniques applied to the character and the relationship between mind, body, movement and emotion. This training is a good place to do those studies.

I am passionate about learning, and throughout my career I have been combined my training in Marketing, Communications, Psychology and a Master’s in Coaching and Emotional Intelligence with over 20 years of experience in film, television and theater.

through my project “Glowing with Lara”, I combine knowledge and experiences to offer a comprehensive approach that transcends the platform. I use coaching, Mindfulness and acting exercises in “Brillando con Lara” to balance the personal and professional lives of artists. As “actress in love with feelings”, I combine acting, psychology and coaching in my “Great Actors Method”, aims to build characters from the deepest layers. I emphasize the importance understand and analyze the emotions in both the characters and the actors themselves, looking for a true and deep explanation. My approach leads to a constant commitment to emotional truth in acting.

The psychology of the character?

We believe that understand the psychology and motivations of the character It is fundamental to the process of creating the bus translatorsbut also for the leaders when they lead them and for them the writers when faced with the blank page.

So, in this intensive training we will work together actors, directors and script writers to work as a team and move forward 2 scenes what + the filmed material will be given to all students for the video book or reel as a director or screenwriter.

How does the workshop work?

Our workshop is going to be especially practicalalthough each session will have a theoretical component.

we will create teams of script writer + director + 2 translators so they can rewrite the scenes and rerun them to shoot the first one around week 6 of the training and the second one (with another crew consisting of script writer + director + 3 interpreters) week 11.

After each shoot, we have a day of watch the edited scenes and let’s start again the process again, with increasing difficulty (less preparation time and more complex scenes emotionally and also in terms of staging).

To make the training as real as possible, we will share the hours of filming between the crewswhich must fulfill the vision within that schedule only and only (although obviously they can practice outside the workshop as much as they like)
