In 1878, eager for freedom and inspiration, the young Robert Louis Stevenson embarked far from his native Scotland to cross on foot the regions of Velay, Gévaudan and Vivarais, to reach the Cévennes massif. This journey with her donkey Modestine became cult for generations of hikers, and inspired her to write Travel with a donkey in the Cévennesone of his most famous works.

In New Zealand, the bees of fortune
