New York City is a city with great cultural treasures on a par with the great capitals of the world and offers an enormous number of options for lovers of art and culture in general.
One of the little-known places, but which have a lot to offer, is “The Morgan Library & Museum” or “The Morgan Library and Museum” in Manhattan.
This institution, which originally in 1906 was the private bookstore of financier John Pierpoint Morgan Sr, one of the richest and most influential men of his time, is the artistic gift to the city of this visionary businessman, who felt great love for arts and culture.
Among the treasures found in “The Morgan Library & Museum” are works by the great masters Michelangelo, Rembrandt and Picasso.
But “The Morgan Library & Museum” is also a place where exhibitions and cultural and artistic activities of various kinds take place every year.
Currently, for example, there are at least nine exhibitions of important artists and personalities, which will last until the months of September, October and November.
To learn more about current exhibitions and all that The Morgan Library and Museum has to offer, visit the website The Morgan Library & Museum.
“The Morgan Library & Museum” is located at 225 Madison Avenue in Manhattan.
