This time, I would like to bring you the extra edition of “Life-size Korean Study Abroad Diary”.

The movie “Barbie” (released on August 11 in Japan) is on fire. It started with a “meme” (a joke image) that combined images from the movie Oppenheimer, which depicts the physicist who developed the atomic bomb. Along with the coined word “Barbenheimer” that combines the title, many memes that downplay the damage caused by the atomic bombing have been posted on Twitter.
