The owner of a diving certificate labeled Confédération Mondiale des Activités Subaquatiques (CMAS), shared his challenging experience while exploring and exploring the underwater area in Likupang, precisely in the most challenging spot for divers, Sahawung Pulau Bangka, East Likupang District.

The chairman of the North Sulawesi (Sulut) Committee, the Great Likupang Underwater Photography, dives to a depth of 18 meters in a spot that is most feared and loved by divers. According to him, it is appropriate for the Bangka and Likupang islands to host the underwater photography championship which will be held from July 1 to July 3.
“It’s very beautiful, and the underwater photo objects are very diverse. Starting from, large healthy soft corals with unique colors are very easy to find at a depth of 10 meters. The schooling fish are also easy to find in addition to some marine life that is no less interesting. So the participants will not run out of stock of photo objects,” said Alvin, Saturday (29/5/2021).
In the 51-minute dive, the man who grew up in Australia and the Philippines admitted that he was very impressed because he had to face strong currents, but because of his experience as a senior diver, this natural action did not make him stutter to enjoy the charm of Likupang underwater.

“In essence, our President of the Republic of Indonesia, it is very appropriate to make Likupang a leading tourism destination. The land and underwater realms are equally interesting and beautiful. Let’s be proud of this natural charm, let’s take care of it and don’t make the sea a trash can,” said a former senior official from the Indonesian Financial Services Authority (OJK).
In his dives to explore the underwater area of Sahawung, Taulu was also accompanied by a well-known diving instructor from North Sulawesi, Nelson Uada and dive master Noldy Hasibuan.
