In his written statement, KTÖS Secretary General Burak Maviş noted that the purpose, plan-program, qualifications of the trainers, place and environment of the religious education courses allowed by the Ministry of National Education are subject to the supervision of the Ministry according to the Constitution.
Noting that 3 days have passed since the permission given by the Ministry of Education for the religious education course upon the request of the Religious Affairs Department, Maviş said, “How many Qur’an courses are allowed by the Ministry of National Education to be held in the summer under the Law on the Right to Information,” He asked him to explain the training places of the allowed courses, the purpose and plan-programs of the courses, the qualifications of the trainers, how often the courses are audited, whether there is an expert inspector on the subject, whether there are current and / or past audit reports of the courses.
