Experts: Vitamin D Helps Avoid Disease When Infection With COVID-19 – Society

The National Health Service (NHS) recommends that everyone take 10 mcg of vitamin D between October and March, but Davis believes that nearly every adult needs 100 mcg daily to protect themselves from the effects of coronavirus infection. “We know that vitamin D reduces the risk of infection and stops the development of serious diseases in most people,” the doctor said.
