Transmission corona virus known primarily to occur through droplet or drooling when sneezing, coughing or even talking out loud. Therefore, apart from being obedient health protocolAnother thing that is reminded by health experts is about the discipline of coughing and sneezing.
However, not everyone is determined to apply ethics when sneezing or coughing, namely covering their nose and mouth with their sleeves under their clothes.
Instead of waiting for everyone to comply, health professionals recommend steps that you can practice when someone is sneezing or coughing near you.
Fredrick Sherman, a professor at Mount Sinai School of Medicine offers helpful new tips to help you suppress the spread of the virus. He says if you are in a high risk situation where someone coughs or sneezes near you then he suggests some steps.
“Immediately exhale or exhale to avoid inhaling droplets or aerosols. Close your lips to breathe longer. Turn your head, and walk away from the person,” Sherman suggested quoted from The Atlantic.
This method, he said, would not absolutely protect you from Covid-19. But at least, it can reduce the number of viruses that may be spread by the person who coughs or sneezes.
A person will tend to get sicker if they inhale the virus in high doses. The amount of time you are exposed to infected particles is also important in determining transmission, the longer you are around them the more time for the virus to enter your body.

The expert conveyed the advice following the entry of winter in a number of countries. This change of season often makes a person susceptible to flu or other illness, resulting in coughing or sneezing.
Of course, there are long-term steps that you must take to reduce your risk of Covid-19. Even in winter, if forced to socialize then try to do it in an open space.
Because according to the United States Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the risk of transmission of the virus will be higher when activities are carried out indoors than outdoors. This is related to ventilation and space (space) which is narrower, making it difficult for people to keep their distance.
