The vice president of the Spanish Association of Vaccinology (AEV), Fernando Moraga-Llop, suggests that people who passed the omicron in the sixth wave and who now have the third dose wait “until June or July” to receive vaccines from second generation, updated and more effective.
Speaking to Efe this Tuesday, Moraga-Llop explains that this suggestion, in a personal capacity, would be conditioned by two facts: that the person who is going to receive the third dose does not belong to any risk group and that the evolution of the pandemic is favorable. In no case would this recommendation be applied to people over 60 and vulnerable.
