We add that according to some polls, in March, the ratings of Erdogan’s main rival, Kemal Kilicdaroglu, exceeded 53%, and the gap from Erdogan reached 10 percentage points. By mid-April, the situation has leveled off, Kilicdaroglu’s positions have fallen back to 43-45%, but most sociological services still predict his victory, if not in the first, then in the second round.
