Your tasks
- migration preparation
- Data transfer: backup / restore of the Z1 config, as well as adjustment of IP addresses to the new infrastructure
- Switching from current to target infrastructure: The migration/switchover takes place in several phases
- CMO – current status
- IMO1 – Building, installing, configuring and testing the new Z1 and mail systems, pivoting the Z1 systems
- IMO2 – Swiveling Mail Servers
- FMO – Toggle MX record for email
- The Z1 systems and mail encryption services are tested using mail routing and end-to-end mail tests
- Before the Z1 systems and mail encryption services are put into operation as productive systems, they are accepted by the IB.SH customer company
- Switching off the Z1 systems at the site only after testing, migration + 4 weeks productive time
