Who recruits ?
Ministry of Culture – Ministerial Department. The promotion of culture is an essential basic element for a democratic, modern, open, tolerant and united society. As political head of cultural development at national and international level in Luxembourg, the Ministry of Culture wishes to preserve and promote Luxembourg’s heritage, and to provide the necessary impetus to foster cultural creation and the promotion of artists. Within the ministry, various departments and services are in charge of these missions and a system of financial aid and agreements is in place to ensure the achievement of these objectives.
Missions
- Advice, expertise and decision support in the area of competence of the ministry;
- Drafting of bills and grand-ducal regulations and monitoring of the different stages of the legislative and regulatory procedure of the texts drafted;
- Advice and legal support within the ministry;
- Preparation of legal texts and support for reforms;
- Litigation management;
- Representation of the ministry during external working sessions, including internationally;
- Watch in its field of activity.
Profile
Technical skills
- Have excellent writing skills in the three official languages as well as in English;
- Know the legislative and regulatory procedure;
- Know the functioning of the Administration.

- Be able to work independently as well as in a team;
- Knowing how to translate abstract ideas into practical solutions;
- Be available and reliable;
- Have the ambition to fully invest in the profession of legal specialist in the field of culture and be ready to develop knowledge in this direction.

Diplomas
You hold a degree or diploma issued by a higher education establishment recognized by the State of the establishment’s headquarters and attesting to the successful completion of a master’s degree in law or its equivalent.
Languages
You meet the knowledge requirements of 3 administrative languages for compensation group A1.

You have Luxembourgish nationality.
