“Experience Yourself”: Anita Intaites’ Debut Album Takes You on an Emotional and Unusual Musical Journey

According to the musician, the debut album “Experience yourself” is a very personal, emotional and unusual journey in music. It is a journey that allowed the artist to experience herself much more deeply and to find an even greater connection with herself, as a result of which the story of Ei Fe was born.

“The name Ei Fe has been close to me for some time. It’s a part of my creative expression that reminded me of itself again and again. This feeling lived in me for a long time, so I surrendered to it. In addition, it is important for me to separate my musical side from my private side, for example, as Ei Fe, I have previously collaborated with the domestic electronic music project “7 Synths”,

says Anita, now Ei Fe.

The single “Don’t let yourself run away”, which was made in a creative camp, has a rock style. The author of the music and text of the song is the artist herself, while a number of musicians-associates worked on the arrangement.

Producer Jānis Narbuts says: “Until now, working together with Anita on song arrangements and melodies, we had worked only as a duo, but this time we decided to approach this process much more creatively, organizing a song writing camp in the countryside outside the city hustle and bustle of cars. We had previously agreed not to prepare in particular, but to indulge in a spontaneous artistic approach, inspired by the surrounding atmosphere. In the process of creating the single, both guitarist Roberts Dinter and bassist Gunnar Toms Narbuts were invited, whose ideas in the musical parts and arrangement of the song vividly highlight the essence and overall message of the piece.”

At the album presentation concert, which will take place on October 26 at 20:00 in the Angara of the Tallinn quarter, compositions from the new album as well as well-known and well-loved songs of the singer Anita Intaites will be played. The special guests of the concert are “VAAKS/VAKUUMS”, “BUR” (“Tickets for Tomorrow”). The artists also participated in the creation of the album. Entrance to the concert is free.

Singer Anita Intaite has been active in music since 2010 and is best known for the radio single “Nepriadainātā” released in 2018. The singer previously collaborated with such groups as “Iron Wolf”, “7Synths”, “Tumsa” and “Colt”.
