Opening of the stargazing festival… welcome the cold breeze 2023-2024 on the night of Jupiter closest to Earth in the year, November 3, 2023, the official start of the winter stargazing season. The activities were held simultaneously at 5 locations at the Sirindhorn Astronomical Park, Mae Rim District, Chiang Mai Province and the 7th Cycle Birthday Anniversary Observatory, Nakhon Ratchasima, Khon Kaen, Chachoengsao and Songkhla, and received a great deal of interest from people traveling to participate in the activities. Each observatory has thousands of people interested in coming to join in the opening of the stargazing festival. There will also be a live broadcast of the phenomenon via Facebook Live along with a Special Talk revealing activities and interesting astronomical phenomena that will occur throughout the festival.
