Heroes, drama and moving stories – great cinema! In the 2023/24 season, the Berliner Philharmoniker are again showing three brilliant concert highlights – live on the big screen and in the best surround sound.
Chief conductor Kirill Petrenko will kick things off: In the season opener, he will present Strauss’ tone poem Ein Heldenleben, which is as powerful as it is humorous. Star tenor Jonas Kaufmann embodies one of his signature roles in the first act of Wagner’s Walküre in the New Year’s Eve concert.
