It is a cultural event that is both sporting and ecological. From August 5 to 9, the Terres d’Auxois Tourist Office is organizing the Cinécyclo festival. The principle is simple: every evening (except Monday August 7) an open-air cinema will be set up in a village in Terres d’Auxois. For this first edition, the organizers put up an original concept. Spectators will be invited to pedal on a bicycle to generate electricity and thus project the film.
Here are the 4 villages of Terres d’Auxois which will host film screenings.
Saturday August 5, in the square of the town hall in Pont-et-Massene
Sunday August 6, in the grounds of the Collegiate Church of Thil in Vic-sous-Thil
Tuesday, August 8, on the port of Pont-Royal in Clamerey
Wednesday August 9, to the ERL at Epoisses
Screenings begin at 9:30 p.m. Entertainment and catering will be offered in each municipality. Screenings are free and without reservation.
