Gérard Rancinan, former six-time winner of the prestigious World Press, now a world-renowned photographer, and Caroline Gaudriault, author of writing installations, wanted to open the doors of their studio to the public for a weekend.

An exceptional setting which takes shape in a former aeronautical building with dimensions and architecture which provide an ideal setting for these spectacular works.

A unique opportunity to see monumental photographic works (a photographic altarpiece and frescoes measuring 2.50m x 4.50m) as well as installations of texts and calligraphy.

Artists are used to traveling the world from museum to museum and have set up their studio in Coudray to prepare their exhibitions. Museum directors, curators, collectors come there regularly. This time the doors are open to all in the presence of the artists.

Through their works, the duo deciphers our contemporary society, the contradictions of modern man, the metamorphoses of our time and creates photographic allegories and political as well as poetic writings.
