He Museo Guggenheim Bilbao becomes the epicenter of a unique experience that fuses art and music with the arrival of the new edition of the program Art & Music 2024. Between February and June, the museum’s Atrium will be filled with contemporary musical vibrations in five concerts that promise to captivate the public, all in harmony with the prestigious artistic and architectural line that defines the museum.
The season will open in February with the presence of the flamenco singer Israel Fernandez. This Toledo artist, recognized for fusing the pure legacy of flamenco with contemporary touches, will offer a tour of his discography, including his latest album, «Pure blood«, an exquisite repertoire.
The next event in March brings us to the multifaceted Alice Phoebe Lou, a South African artist whose talents as a photographer, dancer and songwriter merge into a blues and folk sound with retro undertones and relaxing vocal harmonies. She will present her acclaimed new album «Shelter«, in which she explores her past and the need to be loved.
April brings us the presence of the Polish pianist Hania Rani, a contemporary figure who presents her latest album, «Ghosts«, with notable collaborations by Ólafur Arnalds and Patrick Watson. In May, French sensation Louane will bring her award-winning pop to the Museum Atrium, and to close with a flourish in June, German twins Josef and Jan Prasil, known as friendshipwho will close the cycle with their familiar harmonies and their unique vision of life on their latest album «Colour in Life«.
What makes special Art & Music It’s not just the quality of the concerts, but the complete experience it offers. Tickets for this series will allow attendees to enjoy not only the music, but also some of the museum’s exhibitions. From 8:30 p.m. until the start of the concert at 10:00 p.m., the public will be able to explore in small committee some of the museum’s outstanding exhibits, such as «Signs and Objects: Pop Art from the Guggenheim Collection«, «Giovanni Anselmo: Beyond the horizon«, o «June Crespo.
