Light, sound and movement. Installations that challenge the conventional limits of art and that take the viewer on a unique sensory journey.” This is what ‘LUX pursues. ‘Hypersun’, sala 008

‘Hypersun’ is a multidisciplinary installation created by the Pulsa collective, made up of Irene Molina and Fran Toré, and which rotates, like the Earth does, around the sun. The proposal is conceived as an immersive space specifically designed for room 008 of La Térmica. The viewer will be able to immerse themselves in a sunset thanks to devices that will project 3D animations, exploring the current view of the sun. This star, which has been an object of veneration in various cultures throughout history, is approached through new means influenced by contemporary thought, conceptually transforming it.

‘Ciclic’, sala 017

The artist Ferran Belmon explores in ‘Ciclic’ how the interaction of simple frequencies can give rise to complex behaviors and their ability to transform space. This light sculpture distinctively emphasizes how simple waves modulate the perception of the environment, altering both the tangible and the intangible. During the process, specific software creates generative audiovisual content and explores various sound and visual patterns. The sequence and movement of these two elements generate different effects, colors and geometric patterns that fill the space with chaos and harmony at the same time.

‘Ilúmies’, sala 019

‘Ilúmies’, the creation of Gnomalab Estudio, is the result of exploration in the field of laser light in recent years. Juanjo Fernández’s installation combines optical and audiovisual elements that interact with the exhibition space and immerse the visitor in a dreamlike and illusory atmosphere. The distinctive element of ‘Ilúmies’ is its adaptation to the room, turning it into a unique and exclusive work that is shaped according to the place where it is exhibited. The work delves into perception and questions how objects and spaces can be transformed through interaction with various elements such as light.

Tomorrow, Wednesday, February 28, from 7:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m., the public is invited to the VJAMS shows, a proposal that aims to captivate the senses by creating a unique dialogue between the viewer and the work of art. This digital and sound art experience becomes a laboratory of artistic experimentation where the creative possibilities are endless. A pioneering immersive exhibition that represents the convergence between the tangible and the intangible, inviting participants to explore and experience the synergy between contemporary art and the limitless possibilities of the application of technology. Within the programming for this day there will be the visual show of !Me(NOTme) and a VJam.
