However, contrary to the conditions in developed countries like the United States (USA), where the use of electric vehicles is already very massive, it is not even a foreign sight if electric cars become taxis or online taxis.
Out of curiosity, the detikOto Asep Syaifullah team experimented with an online electric taxi straight to Uncle Sam’s land, riding a Chevrolet Bolt EUV from Anaheim California to Los Angeles on Thursday (9/7/2022) yesterday.
When you first sit in the Chevrolet Bolt EUV, you can feel the luxurious interior. Like Tesla, the Chevrolet Bolt EUV also appears to have a large screen in the center. Soft leather seats and ample legroom make passengers feel comfortable while traveling.

“I’ll show you something that doesn’t exist at Tesla,” said Mark, the car owner and online taxi driver.
He also pressed a lever on the center mirror which turned the glass into a screen showing the car’s rear view camera with an infrared camera.

It takes nearly 40 minutes to travel from Anaheim to Los Angeles although there are some congestion points. The total cost is around 50 USD or equivalent to Rp. 745,000 (with an exchange rate of 1 USD = Rp. 14,900) plus a tip.
