In terms of traffic volume, Hamburg Airport (ICAO code: EDDH) is the fifth largest airport in Germany, located about eight kilometers north of the city center of the Hanseatic city in the Fuhlsbüttel district. No fewer than 55 airlines serve the airport, including Eurowings and Condor, which have designated Hamburg as a hub.
Hamburg Airport is implemented quite modestly in the standard scenery of the Microsoft Flight Simulator. Many identifying features are missing.
The free expansion of “Chak991” offers a clear improvement over the standard scenery.
More realistic terminals are just as much a part of this as new ground textures, floor markings, jetways and numerous small objects that bring the airport to life.
The scenery is still a work in progress and will be expanded by the developer in regular updates. The airport can be downloaded free of charge via this link:
Two different downloads are available. In addition to the “Main File” there is also another version especially for those who GSX-Pro use for the extended ground services. Unzip the file and place the “eddh-hamburg” folder it contains in the MSFS community folder. Note the information on the download page!
For free download of some addons is on flightsim.to registration required!
When downloading, some of the developers offer the possibility of recognizing their work in the form of a donation (= donation) – eg via platforms such as “Buy me a coffee” or “Donate via PayPal”. If they are satisfied, designers should definitely be given an adequate donation in order to promote and support further development.
If you want to bring some order into your downloaded addons, this is the free tool “MSFS Addons Linker” recommended.
The free live traffic tool FSLTL was used to create the screenshots in this post. More details at:
