Experience Gastronomy and Casino Fun at the MRC de Montcalm Fundraising Event

A casino-style entertainment area will provide guests with a multitude of gaming tables.

For the first time this year, the MRC de Montcalm will test a brand new formula for its annual fundraising. Thus, it is inviting the community to a Gastronomy & Casino evening on November 9, at the Montcalm golf club, in Saint-Liguori.

During this evening where gustatory pleasures and entertainment will be in the spotlight, chef Florent Romano of the restaurant Au St-Jacques will offer a 4-course menu specially prepared for the event, and respecting the food and wine pairings.

In addition to discovering the culinary talent that abounds in the territory of the MRC de Montcalm and having fun at the various gaming tables that will be made available, participants will have the pleasure of supporting a good cause by being among the guests of this evening. In fact, all profits from the event will be donated to the regional organization Center de Femmes Montcalm. Established in its community since 1990, the center works to improve the living conditions of women through its listening, support and referral services; its educational and self-knowledge workshops; its collective actions and the defense of women’s rights.

Procedure

On November 9, guests will be expected on site starting at 5 p.m. From 6 p.m., the gastronomic meal service will begin. Entertainment and background music will accompany the guests throughout the dinner, which will last until around 8 p.m. Thereafter, the gaming tables, casino style, will be open until 10 p.m. Several surprises will also brighten up the evening.
