With Ludwig Dietz, the brass band Neuengrün / Schlegelshaid has a new second chairman with a lot of experience in clubs. Young blood came to the board through the newly elected Magdalena Kremer (secretary), Johanna Wiedel (deputy treasurer), Roland Kowalzik (active assessor) and Katja Schmidt-Dietz (passive assessor).
The board of brass band Neuengrün / Schlegelshaid is composed as follows: First chairman Alfred Kremer, second chairman Ludwig Dietz (new), third chairman Ramona Kneifel, treasurer Rainer Günther, deputy treasurer Johanna Wiedel (new), secretary Magdalena Kremer (new ), deputy secretary Wolfgang Kremer, active assessors Roland Kowalzik (new), Manuel Fischer and Edelbert Deuerling., passive assessors Gerald Gareis and Katja Schmidt-Dietz (new), youth representative Carolin Kremer, auditors Manfred Wiedel and Harald Gremer, conductor Wolfgang Schrepfer.
In his report for the first months of 2022, the chairman was able to report on performances at the Festkommers 60 Jahre OV Neuengrün / Schlegelshaid, the St. Mark devotion in Schlegelshaid and the pilgrimage to Marienweiher. Visits and stand concerts as well as star marches are planned at the district music festivals in Nurn from June 10th to 12th and in Nordhalben from July 15th to 17th.
The brass band currently has 25 active musicians. There are also young musicians who are gradually being integrated. Chairman Kremer was proud that despite Corona, one had remained a playable band. sd
