The Bad Mergentheim “Weidenkino” offers a week of film enjoyment and a supporting program under the starry sky.
For these annual, special summer nights, the organizer association of Wildpark, Kino Movies, Solymar Therme, Jakobshof Lehr and the city of Bad Mergentheim has come up with a lot. From Sunday 6th August up to and including Sunday 13th August films for every taste will be shown. The scene is again the demonstration pasture of the wildlife park, atmospherically situated above the spa town.
When booking a ticket, guests can choose between a seat (free choice of seat) and a sunbathing area (you must bring your own blanket or sleeping pad, you are not permitted to bring your own seating, such as garden chairs). The view of the 50 square meter screen is impressive from anywhere. Refreshments and culinary delicacies of all kinds are offered to guests, including grilled meat from the Wildpark smoker, fresh cinema popcorn or cocktails from Jakobshof Lehr. This is one of the reasons why guests traditionally enjoy the whole evening in a nice atmosphere.
These films will be shown in 2023: The “literary cinema” will start on Sunday, August 6th with the drama “When will it finally be like it never was”. It continues on Monday, August 7th with the comedy “No Hard Feelings”. On Tuesday, August 8, another humorous film is on the program with “Greece or the Running Chicken”. The cheerful “venison ragout rendezvous” will be served on Wednesday 9th August and a second time on Saturday 12th August.
For action fans, “Mission Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part 1” will be shown on Thursday, August 10th. There will be animation for the whole family on Friday, August 11th, with “Elemental”, before another comedy will close the Weidenkino 2023 on Sunday, August 13th with “Fisherman’s Friends 2 – A Breeze of Life”.
