CI Games has released a new video showing 17 minutes of Lords of the Fallen gameplay without interruptions or cuts.
Lords of the Fallen uses Unreal Engine 5 Lumen technology, high quality textures and Chaos Physics for detailed simulation of clothes, chains, hair and belts. However, it is not yet clear if the game will use Nanite to render objects.
Lords of the Fallen is set in a vast semi-open world. The new video showcases just a few of the many varied and macabre locations players will have to navigate through on their epic quest to overthrow the demon god Adyr. Players will choose in which order to explore these lands, but their task is not just to survive in one world, but in two, thanks to the game’s unique dual-world mechanics.
In addition to the living world, there is its dead counterpart. Each world has its own unique routes, enemies, characters and, of course, treasures. Using the Umbral Lantern, players can cross into this parallel world at any time, however, it will cost one of two lives. If a player dies in the living world, he automatically resurrects in the same place, but already in the world of the dead, getting the last chance to survive.
Lords of the Fallen releases October 13th.
