Sarah Ko just got married, cheaply. A zero-waste and carbon-neutral wedding that she managed to achieve in part thanks to the solidarity of the Facebook group “Buy Nothing” of the inhabitants of her Brooklyn neighborhood. The concept of the group is simple: everything is free, no transactions are allowed. Members make available items they no longer want and which clutter their interior or, conversely, launch a #ISO (pour in search oflooking for).
