When traveling nearby food outlets with good taste and affordable prices are much sought after. Especially when lunch or dinner time has come.

When considering choosing a place to eat, many people are very careful. This is the rise of shops that do price checks or serve food that does not meet their customer’s expectations.

Quoting Stomp (1/5), a netizen named Udaya shared a bad experience that happened to him at the airport. Initially, he felt hungry and confused about buying food and decided to visit the food court at Jewel Changi Airport, Singapore.

Upon arriving at the food court, he saw a shop called Padang Lezat which caught his attention. The shop serves Nasi Padang with a wide variety of side dishes.

Initially, Udaya hoped that the taste provided by a Nasi Padang stall would at least be enjoyed at a price that was not too expensive compared to other restaurants. But after ordering several menus he was actually surprised by the price charged.

For a serving of white rice, Udaya is set at IDR 11,000. Udaya also ordered two types of vegetables in the form of stir-fried bitter gourd and long beans which cost Rp. 33,000.

In addition, Udaya also ordered two types of side dishes, namely anchovies and fried chicken. The two side dishes were billed for IDR 99,000 to Udaya.

“I never thought that eating at a food court could be that expensive. It seems that all food courts have to display menu boards and prices before customers are directed to choose food,” said Udaya.

Udaya also said the workers at the outlet did not provide any information about food at all. He was only directed to order white rice and immediately chose the side dishes that were served.

Not only Udaya, previously a customer who ordered pork noodles at a restaurant at the airport also went berserk. He did not accept the high price for pork belly but was only given the lower part of the stomach which had lots of bones.
