The expert did not deny that the coronavirus epidemic has led to great socio-economic consequences not only in Russia, but throughout the world. According to Vuynovich, now many states are trying to find an approach to exit the regime of self-isolation, while not allowing a new surge in cases of the disease. The representative of WHO noted that one should not expect a return to a former life, as this would not happen. Therefore, now it is important for each region and city to look at its situation and do explanatory work with the population. Vujnović emphasized that nobody cancels distance and warning measures, and new cases of infection coronavirus will be.
The expert noted that the daily number of cases of diseases is high, but they are gradually decreasing, therefore it is necessary keep such a “trend”. Perhaps there will be several vaccines from different sites.
It is too early to talk about the specific timing of the appearance of the drug, since there is no data on the results of clinical studies. Vujnović did not rule out that develop a vaccine in 2020, but it is unlikely to be ready for mass production. According to the expert, the drug should be expected in 2021.
