The expansion of the red line of the electric train, which now extends to kilometer 7 of Petrolera Avenue, is nearing completion. The work, which begins near the UMSS Faculty of Agronomy, includes a tunnel built to facilitate the flow of vehicles and pedestrians on the entrance road to the K’ara K’ara dump.
This new section, approximately 2.8 kilometers, has two new intermediate stops: one at the temple of Santa Vera Cruz and another at the entrance to the Arrumani bridge.

The decision to limit the current expansion to kilometer 7 is aligned with the Government’s plans to build a new interprovincial terminal in the sector, explained the UTF coordinator, Augusto Chassagnez.
