After the Brussels government, the Walloon government announced on Thursday the extension of the Covid Safe Ticket. The corona pass should be presented from mid-October in various places such as the catering industry, dance halls and discotheques, hospitals, residential care centers, sports and fitness centers. “The CST is an additional means of protecting the population from the virus, a means of returning to normal life, of living together, and – I hope – of ending the health crisis. It is obviously very positive to see that the announcement of the CST led to significant positive results in 24 hours as far as vaccination appointments are concerned in the coming days and weeks. Vaccination is the only solution to regain normal life’, explained Minister Morreale.
On Thursday afternoon and Friday, the vaccination centers received a lot of people who did not have an appointment. In addition, the figures for temporary antennas in universities, colleges and certain municipalities with a low vaccination rate are ‘encouraging’. From Monday to Friday there were 5,000 registrations in the antennas of Namur, Luxembourg, Mons and Verviers.
