The interplanetary exploration game Exo One was announced about 3 years ago and for a long time it was a little quieter around the former Kickstarter Project. But now developer Exbleative and indie publisher Future Friends Games have Exo One: Prologue as free Demo released on Steam. The game is slated to be available for PC and Xbox Series X in the course of 2020. However, there is no exact release date yet.

The demo is the beginning of an interplanetary adventure into unexplored vastness and serves as an introduction to the mechanics and atmosphere of the main game. For around 10 minutes you can test the basic mechanics behind the project and get a feel for the matter. The whole thing is accompanied by a soundtrack which the team describes as a “hypnotic guitar soundtrack”.
You control an alien spaceship and travel through mysterious and deserted planets. In the meantime, you use the gravity of the planets and the momentum of the ship to reach high speeds and explore new heights. Enjoy the flight through cloud formations, glide and roll down mountains and hills and soar towards extraterrestrial horizons. Adventure is what you make of it. The main game should also appear soon.
