Les Petits mythos
From March 25 to April 8, 2022, the Espace Culturel E.Leclerc in Niort is offering an exhibition taken from the series of humorous youth comic strips “Les Petits mythos”, the first album of which was published in 2012, open from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.
On this occasion, the designer Philippe Larbier will be present to sign his comics, March 26 from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
This series, intended for children from 8 years old, includes twelve albums illustrated by Philippe Larbier and scripted by Christophe Cazenove, is published by Bamboo Édition.
“Les Petits mythos” is a series of comic strips that popularizes Greek mythology among the youngest, featuring caricatures of gods, goddesses, heroes and creatures from Greco-Roman mythology.
The Tunis Diaries in Niort
The voice of the Tunisian revolution invites itself to Le Moulin du Roc in Niort from 8:30 p.m. Emel was propelled to center stage during the Tunisian revolution in 2011 with her song “Kelmti Horra”, which she sang a capella at a rally in Tunis.
Inspired by Arab protest singers and American folk music, Emel created her poetic universe with a committed voice which earned her an invitation to sing at the Nobel Peace Prize award ceremony in 2015.
After a more electronic shift in 2017, notably through her collaboration with sound engineer Valgeir Sigurdsson, the singer is back today with a new album, The Tunis Diaries.
