Exhibition of free textbooks “Notes to prevent human trafficking”

Aimed at students in the 2nd year of secondary school and the 3rd semester of Secondary Education

The State Secretariat of Public Education (SEPE) and the Unit of Educational Services of Tlaxcala (USET) presented the textbooks within the framework of the World Day Against Human Trafficking; These textbooks are part of the educational activities implemented to help in the fight against this crime.

Ana Bertha Luna Miranda, one of the authors explained that the books are part of spreading the social, legal, cultural and historical aspects of this phenomenon; To produce these books, we worked with researchers who, based on actions, methods, feelings and values, were designed from solving problems and creating projects for the benefit of the communities they have

The textbooks are divided into three sections, in which you will find the laws, organizations, protocols, as well as preventive measures against human trafficking through a wide variety of activities and activities aimed at making children and teenagers reflect and interact. exercise in the classrooms to prevent this crime; In this way, books are a commitment and a social reward for our state.

Likewise, the head of SEPE-USET, Homero Meneses Hernández pointed out that Tlaxcala is the first state in the Republic that generates textbooks that meet the demands of the New Mexico School, at the same time he sent a message to the students’ families all of it. in which it stands out that these books were accepted with great responsibility and without taboos, therefore, it is a book that is under the care of experts who know the context of the state that as well as being a way to promote the care of people, in their contexts, their environments and the way a person protects and cares for themselves.

He pointed out: «The state, as it was once said, is a paradise for the issue of human trafficking; It is the opposite… it is a place where that crime which scourges and scourges humanity is reduced; For this reason, our state must be recognized as a federal agency where we promote the safety of girls; women and generally everyone.

Likewise, the children’s work was recognized by presenting prizes in a poster competition against human trafficking, as well as the work and projects with which the books are illustrated.
