Exhibition in the Schopenhauer Studio at the Frankfurt University Library

07.10.2024 18:22

Colorful things from science

Works by the picture book illustrator Květa Pacovská, who died in 2023, and corresponding works by students from a project seminar at Goethe University can be seen from October 10, 2024.

The exhibition PICTURES-BOOK-ART. With Květa Pacovská into the present takes the works of the Czech artist Květa Pacovská (1928-2023) as a starting point in order to take a look at diverse approaches and perspectives on picture book projects and picture book objects. Through a selection of objects, films and hands-on stations, the exhibition can be experienced on several levels.

The exhibition opens on October 10, 2024 (7 p.m.). All interested parties are cordially invited to the vernissage. After a short welcome and introduction, you have the opportunity to view the exhibition independently. This gives you the opportunity to interact with the students who, together with the Schopenhauer Studio team, conceived and designed the exhibition as part of a project seminar led by Petra Saltuari and Verena Kuni.
