Exhibition “I continue you”

From September 15 to October 15, the exhibition “Es Tevi turpinu” can be seen in the enfilade of the Liepāja Museum.
The exhibition is a tribute to the Eltermani family of artists. It examines the works of painter Jānis Eltermanes (1928–1997) and textile artist Anna Eltermanes (1929–2009), as well as their daughters: ceramist Zane Eltermanes (1962) and leather artist Lienes Eltermanes (1960).
The exhibition is held in the year of the 95th anniversary of the artist Jānis Eltermanis, to honor the spirit of art, creativity and bring to light the legacy of the artists Annas Eltermanis and Jānis Eltermanis. The initiator and curator of the exhibition is the artist Liene Eltermane.
Common and from generation to generation in the artistic work of the Elterman family is the persistent need to work and prove oneself in some form of art.
The exhibition “Es Tevi turpinu” at the Liepāja Museum at Kūrmājas prospekt 16/18 can be viewed until October 15, 2023.
