RIYADH: An exhibition giving visitors a glimpse of the Prophet’s Hijra (exile from Mecca to Medina) will open in Riyadh next weekend.

The exhibition is the result of a partnership between the Saudi National Museum, Dhahran’s King Abdulaziz Center for World Culture (Ithra) and local and international cultural institutions. The exhibition sheds light on the Prophet’s history. The exhibition seeks to provide a creative cultural experience related to the birth of a community that emerged from the most significant event in Islamic history, which began with the Prophet’s exodus from Mecca to Medina in 622 AD. There will be an exhibition in Riyadh for six consecutive months. After that, the exhibition will be shifted to Madinah. Later, the exhibition will be organized in the countries of the world.
