Exhibition “Brown Lagoon” | liepajniekiem.lv

In the gallery of the Faculty of Arts and Letters of the University of Liepāja at Kūrmājas prospekt 13, on the 2nd floor until November 17 on weekdays from pl. From 10:00 to 18:00, you can view the new media art installation “Brūnā lagūna” for free, inspired by the landscape and ecosystem of Lake Liepāja – a lagoon-type lake. Using microscope video recordings, sonification of data and natural materials, as well as papers and graphic works made with found materials, the young artists have revealed the relationships of various species that make up the Liepāja Lake ecosystem, also reflecting on the role of man in it .
