From July 9 to September 12, an exhibition of a group of artists inspired by the city of wind will be on display in the art space on the 1st floor of the concert hall, Civita Nova, with the significant name “A lost person at sea near Liepaja”.

The artists affected by the city of Liepaja, known for their significant manuscripts: Egons Peršēvics, Uldis Rubezis, Ieva Rubeze and Raids Kalniņš, have united in the exhibition of contemporary art and reflected on the theme of the sea and humanity.

Searches begin with disappearance; so the man disappeared – in the sea near Liepaja.

“Our story is about the sea, about the depth of its concept, about the fact that man disappears in front of its infinite depth. The desire to be close to the sea cannot be fully explained, and yet we are the people by the sea, ”introduces the creative team of the exhibition.

Working hours: Mon.-Fri. 11.00-17.00, S.-Sv. 10.00-15.00.
