Subject to overtime since the start of the anti-Covid vaccination campaign, health professionals return to the administrative schedule from Monday, February 15. A rotation system will be put in place to guarantee the operation of the stations on Saturdays.

A meeting was held on Sunday February 14 between the human resources department of the Ministry of Health and the regional directors. It was dedicated to working conditions as part of the anti-Covid 19 vaccination campaign, namely the commitment and motivation of staff, food, working hours and staff reinforcement.
Through the Independent Union of Public Sector Doctors (SIMSP), health professionals had expressed “their physical and mental exhaustion” since the outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic.
They denounced “difficult working conditions”, an extension of working hours and allowances, and “poor” transport and food logistics.
The meeting between the human resources department and the regional health directors focused on:
– Reinforcement of support and communication measures for delegates with staff,
– The back to the administrative schedule from Monday 15 February 2021,
– The establishment of a rolling to guarantee the operation of the stations on Saturdays,
– The acceleration of power support for stations which do not benefit from it.
Among the remarks raised, according to the minutes of the meeting:
– The need to increase the food budget,
– The consultation concerning the schedule of reception of vaccines,
– The motivation for the work of the day on Saturday,
– The reinforcement of students from the higher institutes of nursing and health techniques and 7th year medicine,
– Reinforcement in tablets for the 2nd dose circuit.
