JAKARTA – According to research, sport can lower bad cholesterol . This type of exercise can help control blood cholesterol levels and is suitable for those who are new to fitness.

High cholesterol indicates too much fat is said cholesterol in blood. Over time, this can cause blockages in blood vessels, causing serious damage.

Although it can sometimes run in families, having high cholesterol is usually associated with unhealthy lifestyle factors such as a poor diet and lack of exercise.

“Exercise is one of the most effective changes you can make to your lifestyle to lower cholesterol levels,” said fitness coach James Barr, quoted from Express, Saturday (2/9/2023).

“Basically, you want to increase good cholesterol levels because it protects the body from cholesterol buildup and lowers bad cholesterol levels,” he continued.

James recommends two types of exercise that you can do for 30 minutes at a time to help lower bad cholesterol. One of them is jogging or brisk walking.
