A police patrol – consisting of an inspector, an inspector and a police student – provided quick and exemplary help on Thursday in a kitchen fire in a residential complex in Salzburg-Itzling.
While the policeman quickly extinguished the flames in the apartment kitchen on the fourth floor using a fire extinguisher, his colleague and the police student quickly got the two residents, a 65-year-old disabled woman and a 35-year-old, out of the danger area. The two residents were unharmed. The cause of the fire was probably a hotplate that was switched on.
