DUBAI, 11th September, 2018 (WAM) – The Mohammed Bin Rashid College of Government, in cooperation with the Dubai Air Navigation Services Corporation (DANS), launched the Executive Diploma Program for Government Management and Leadership in light of a memorandum of understanding signed between the two parties last May.
The program launch ceremony was attended by His Excellency Dr. Ali bin Sebaa Al Marri, CEO of the Mohammed bin Rashid School of Government, Ibrahim Ahli, Executive Vice President of the Dubai Air Navigation Services Corporation, Professor Raed Al Awamleh, Dean of the Mohammed bin Rashid College of Government, and a group of officials from both parties.
Dr. Ali bin Sebaa Al Marri said that the Mohammed bin Rashid College of Government puts human resources training at the top of its priorities and believes that refining and developing skills is the basis for preparing future leaders and improving government performance. Therefore, the launch of the Executive Diploma Program for Government Administration and Leadership comes as an extension of the college’s efforts to qualify cadres and officials. Government officials and exchange knowledge and experiences with various government agencies and activate their role in shaping the features of tomorrow and participating in the comprehensive development system of the state.
For his part, Ibrahim Ahli said: We realize the importance of training and qualifying human resources and investing in them by giving them various experiences and knowledge, especially those specialized in government administration. We believe that the Mohammed bin Rashid College of Government Administration is the ideal body to give our cadres such skills that will enable them to participate in improving performance and work. Administrative training and giving them a deeper and more comprehensive view of government work and administration and its basics so that they become more prepared for different scenarios.
He added that joint cooperation with the Mohammed bin Rashid College of Government aims to create competent leaders who can keep pace with the aspirations of our wise government to make Dubai an airport for the world and keep pace with the vision of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, “may God protect him,” who emphasized Tomorrow’s leaders are our focus and the foundation of the future, and therefore it is our duty to develop their skills and knowledge.
The first lecture of the diploma program was organized at the college’s headquarters under the title “Human Resources Management,” presented by Dr. Jassim Al-Ali, an international expert in human resources management. The lecture focused on the basics of human resources and enabled students to understand the term human resources in a deeper way and introduce the importance of the role of officials in supporting… Human Resources, in addition to highlighting modern concepts of human resources culture.
