Execution of Death Penalty for Perpetrator of Murder in Saudi Arabia – Ministry of Interior Statement

Al-Marsad Newspaper: Today, the Ministry of the Interior issued a statement regarding the implementation of the death penalty for one of the perpetrators in the Eastern Province, as follows:

God Almighty said (The punishment of those who wage war against God and His Messenger and strive to spread corruption in the land is that they shall be killed or crucified or their hands and feet cut off on opposite sides or be exiled from the land.

Fadel bin Mansour bin Ali Al-Hilal – a Saudi national – killed his wife / Zainab bint Muhammad bin Habib Al-Atouq – a Saudi national – by strangling her in their bedroom until she passed away.

By the grace of God, the security authorities were able to arrest the aforementioned perpetrator, and the investigation resulted in him being charged with committing his crime and referring him to the competent court. By killing him, he put an end to the killing of the victim, the victim, and the ruling was supported by the Court of Appeal and the Supreme Court, and a royal order was issued to implement what was decided by law and was supported by its reference.

The death sentence was executed by the perpetrator / Fadel bin Mansour bin Ali Al-Hilal – a Saudi national – on Monday, 12/22/1444 AH, corresponding to 7/10/2023 AD, in the Eastern Province.

And the Ministry of the Interior, announcing this to confirm the keenness of the Kingdom’s government to establish security, achieve justice, and implement God’s rulings for anyone who transgresses the innocent or spills their blood, and at the same time warns everyone who tempts himself to do so that the Sharia punishment will be his fate.
